Fundamentals of Faith

Our Lord God 
We believe in one God, maker of all things and being in Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  (2 Corinthians 13:14)

Christ Jesus, the Son of God
We believe that Jesus of Nazareth was the Son of God and became incarnate when He was begotten by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. He is true God and true man.  He is the Word, our Savior and Redeemer.  (John 14:6)

The Bible 
We believe that the Bible in its entirety is the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and conduct.  (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Eternity 
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost.  (Revelation 20:11-15)

Salvation, Sanctification & Holiness 
We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus.  We believe in sanctification by the blood of Jesus, in personal holiness of heart and life, and in separation from the world.  (John 3:16-18)

Divine Healing
We believe in Divine healing through faith and that healing is included in the atonement.  (Isaiah 53:5, 1Peter 2:24)

Spiritual Gifts and Water Baptism
We believe the ministry and power of the Holy Spirit, and in the orderly operation of the nine spiritual gifts. (Gal 5, Rom 8, John 14, Acts 2, 1Cor, 2Cor).  We believe in water baptism as a covenant sign of repentance and identification with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. (1Pet 3, Acts 2)

Jesus’ Coming Again 
We believe in the Christian hope – the imminent, personal return of Messiah Jesus.  (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

The Great Commission
We believe in intensive world evangelism and missionary work in accordance with the Great Commission, with signs following.  (Matthew 28:16-20)
