But let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. – 1 Peter 3:4
Sunday, September 13th
Greetings today Church,
Our prayer is that in this day, you will rise to give the Lord God praise for His saving grace. His salvation is yours today, freely given unto you. Romans 6 shares with you that ‘the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord’. Your heavenly Father loved you so very much that from the beginning of time, He ordained that His one and only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, would be given, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16).
If in this moment, you know that you are at a place outside of the will of God, his word is for you today. Sin may be ruling and holding you away from your hearts desire for a consecrated relationship with your Lord and Savior. The Lord is calling you back to His presence today. There is nothing to great for the almighty saving grace of Jesus! Will you trust upon Him? I pray for your ear to be open to voice of the Holy Spirit, and that by faith you will receive for the first time, or as a re-consecration, you will receive the forgiveness of Christ your Savior. Romans 10:9 declares, that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (of your life), and believe in your heart (by faith) that God raised him from the dead (for your victory, you will be saved (made whole – forgiven of all sin – reunited with your Father – His redeemed child).
Will you pray today? Father, I confess that I have sinned, that I need your forgiveness. O Lord, come to me today. Impart to me the faith and trust to make you Lord of my life. I believe that you died and rose again, and in you I am raised to victory. Cleanse me, make me whole, save me I pray. I pray this in the precious name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior, Amen. Rejoice! Jesus declares, ‘Now go and sin no more. (John 8:11). If you prayed today, please write back to our office, we would love to pray with and encourage you all the more.
This weeks teaching is from Matthew 5, from which Christ Jesus pronounces the divine blessings of God over your life as you walk in a meek spirit, before others and before God Almighty. This is a teaching you will not want to miss. Join us on zoom or in person Sunday mornings at 10:30. Please go to cc-fga.org for further information.
