Welcome… Church Family and Friends,
You are welcome here today, joining in for a time of worship and the Word with Christ’s Chapel. In the midst of the ever-changing environment around us, I believe that the children of God are called to keep their eyes on the Lord.
Let us take a moment and be reminded, He, our great God, He is the one, as the word reminds us, He is our shepherd. He is the one who cares for you today. By his grace, when all things may seem to be in turmoil and change, he will lead you by the power of his word into his peace. As you stand strong in your faith, you shall be able to declare as the Psalmist wrote, ‘Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me’ (Psalm 23).
Remember today, for David the shepherd, he would have experienced the gloomy valleys and deep ravines of Palestine. Every shepherd – all who would experience the darkness of the storms of life would understand the perils of such an experience. But all praise to the name of Jesus! We see, even as the conditions of the daily walk are recognized, the declaration of the presence of God is being lifted up for all to hear. Lord, you are my great Shepherd! ‘Even though I walk through the valley of death, thou art with me’.
Today church, let us come before the Lord God in praise! In the midst of the valley… the Lord God is with you! We may not be able to join together in one place today, but as the Church, we are together in one Spirit. We are comforted by the rod (the Word) and the staff (the Spirit) of God. Join with us in prayer one for another daily. Stay connected with all God’s people. Keep praising the name of the Lord, for surely (His) goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life!
Join with us today… giving God praise and receiving of His word with the archive teaching ‘I am Kept by Power of God’. Bless Him today! Know that as you give the Lord praise, you will touch the lives of many. The world needs to hear you giving God all the glory. May you be blessed in Him.
You are in our prayer.
