Open Sanctuary Prayer
Sundays, March 22 & 29, 10AM – 1PM
Christ’s Chapel Family and Friends,
I greet you today in the name of our Lord Jesus. As you well know, there is great concern relative to the COVID-19 virus, its effects, and the precautions that are being called upon each of us to take. The health and safety of our church family, our friends, all who gather here at Christ’s Chapel, and the greater community that we serve is of utmost importance in these times before us. We encourage you to do everything possible to remain safe in this unprecedented season ahead.
All Christ’s Chapel church activities and services midweek and Sunday will be canceled for the next two weeks with Sunday services being planned to resume on Palm Sunday, April 5 at 10:30AM.
In these weeks ahead, Christ’s Chapel will have an Open Sanctuary for Personal Prayer 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM each Sunday. During this time, you may enter and remain in prayer in the quiet presence of the Lord as long as you desire.
Your church is here for you! Church announcements, encouragements and the power of the Word will continue to be offered through the Christ’s Chapel website and prayer requests will be handled through the CC Prayer Line. The church office will be always available to you. Pastor and team may be reached for prayer, emergencies, and consultation at 610-857-2357.
Regular support into the ministry of Christ’s Chapel is very much needed and appreciated as we continue to do the work of the Lord together. The ministry of Christ’s Chapel continues! Tithe and offering may be forwarded to Christ’s Chapel, PO Box 337, Parkesburg, PA. 19365.
I leave you with this encouragement from the sermon this past Sunday… Psalm 46:10 reminds you that even though the battles may rage around us, just as they did before the land of Jerusalem, the Lord God knows your heart, your cry and your every need. His word gives to you reason for calmness and assurance for the Lord says…:
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
May the almighty hand of God be ever with you and yours.
