The following letter is from our prayer line leader, Miriam Shaw:
What a powerful sermon we received this morning from pastor Simeon! Encouraging us to keep pressing on as the woman who pressed in through the crowd, in faith that just a touch of the Master’s garment would heal her and make her whole again.
Surely this race is not easy at all, but Jesus has promised to be with us until the very end.
“I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise will always be on my lips. My soul will boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name forever.” Psalm 34
Our God is so good and gracious to us. Even when the trials and struggles we face seem to overwhelm us, it is so comforting to know that as we praise Him, His Holy Spirit fills our hearts with incomprehensible peace…”and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”…Luke 4:7
We bless the Lord for the covenant of His blood that He made with us when we accepted Him in our lives. You see, it is because of His blood that we have access to His saving grace. Without the coverage of His blood in our lives, we would be powerless and sit in the influence and persecution of the enemy.
Thank you King Jesus, that you provided a solution to our sinful nature even before you laid the foundations of the world. We bless your name Jehovah God because you knew we’d have moments of doubt, fear and uncertainties, but you provided your Holy Spirit to dwell within us. We worship and magnify your Holy name Almighty God for your undying love for us.
“What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor and put EVERYTHING under his feet.”…Heb 2:6-8
Behold the promises given to the man that fears the Lord:
“The angel of the Lord encamped around those who fear Him and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.
Fear the Lord, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.” Psalm 34:7-9
You are the redeemed of the Lord my friend. These promises are just but a small portion of your inheritance that comes with being in Christ Jesus. You see, you are His beloved, you are precious in His eyes and no matter what your need might be this day, there’s nothing too hard for our God. He knows your needs even before you speak of them. Yours is to keep His praises on your lips for what He has done and is doing for you. No one else will do.
He’ll never fail you nor forsake you, and has brought you to this place, where you feel alone and helpless so He can open your eyes to show you that only He will do. He has been your help, your provider, your strength and Healer in ages past, and will continue to be your Rock of refuge in days to come.
God bless and keep you my friend.
